IS DENTAL SEDATION DENTISTRY RIGHT FOR ME?
Sedation is very popular among two main groups in the San Diego area:
1) Those who suffer from dental phobia and avoid the dentist because of the anxiety it causes.
2) Those who are extremely busy and do not have the time to spread a more complex or extensive treatment(s) into multiple visits. Dental sedation allows them to complete their whole treatment plan in one visit.
If you fall in either group, sedation dentistry may just be right for you.
WHAT SEDATION DENTISTRY OPTIONS DO WE OFFER?
Jeff Gray DDS offers two sedation dentistry options for patients in the San Diego area: oral conscious sedation and laughing gas. Both methods of sedation dentistry are tried and true and offer fantastic results.
HOW MANY PATIENTS HAVE YOU TREATED WITH SEDATION TECHNIQUES?
Dr. Gray and his San Diego dental team have treated over 5000 patients safely and comfortably with sedation dentistry. We have a phenomenal track record and are proud to treat patients safely and comfortably on a consistent basis.
HOW CAN I KNOW I’M SAFE DURING SEDATION DENTISTRY?
During sedation dentistry treatments we constantly monitor each patient with a computerized pulse oximeter, which measures heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation.
WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG DURING SEDATION TREATMENT?
It rarely happens, but we have a reversal agent on hand that reverses the effect of the sedation medicine in less than 30 seconds. You never need worry that you will be stuck in a sedated state if something unforeseen happens.
WHY IS SEDATION DENTISTRY BECOMING SO POPULAR?
Many who have avoided the dentist in the past because of dental phobia but who know they needed to visit the dentist are able to with the help of dental sedation. Also, people interested in more extensive treatments but too busy for multiple visits can do everything in one visit now.
